We have two self catering holiday cottages, Barley Cottage and the Old Granary, converted from an old barn and possibly a blacksmiths cottage.

Barley Cottage is a 4 bedroom cottage sleeping a maximum of 8. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. There is a double bedroom, a twin room and a bedroom with full size bunk beds. The fourth, very large bedroom with spacious en-suite bathroom is on the first floor and is accessed by a very narrow staircase which is not suitable for anyone with any mobility difficulties.
All bedrooms have wardrobes and chests of drawers and all beds have electric blankets for the cooler nights. The double beds have luxury King Size duvets on them.
Barley Cottage has two bathrooms (the first floor en-suite and a ground floor family bathroom), and an open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen.
The lounge has a lovely stone fireplace with the original bread oven and a wood burning stove; a television with freeview, a dvd/video player and plenty of comfortable seating.
The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for 8 with an electric cooker, a microwave oven, coffee maker, dish washer and fridge/ freezer.
The Old Granary sleeps a maximum of 4 in a large, comfortable family bedroom on the first floor comprising of a double bed and 2 single beds. The double bed has a luxury King Size duvet and an electric blanket. There is a large walk-in wardrobe with hanging space and shelving as well as chests of drawers in the bedroom thus offering plenty of storage space.
The family bathroom is on the ground floor. The rest of the ground floor is open plan with a lounge, dining area and kitchen. The lounge has a luxurious leather suite, a colour tv with freeview, a dvd/ video player, radio and a feature remote controlled electric fire with surround.
The kitchen is fully equipped to cater for 4 with a new electric cooker, a microwave oven, coffee maker, and a fridge with a small freezer section.
Both cottages are cleaned and let on a self catering basis and do not include any additional cleaning or linen changes mid-week. Linen is changed weekly during a 2 week booking or longer.
Electricity, heating and bedding are included in the rental price.
Each cottage has its own open fronted garage and there is a limited amount of space for additional cars adjacent to the cottages.
The cottages share a large, private terrace where you can enjoy outdoor dining, a barbeque or just relaxing. Denham House also has an extensive garden, a children's play area, an upper sun terrace and a games room which registered guests of the cottages and the main house are invited to make use of.
